I release the need to manage the process

There is relief in realizing that everything does not require your management. You do not have to keep checking, adjusting, reminding, anticipating, or quietly taking over because you know you can. Interest does not have to become supervision. Capability does not have to become permanent responsibility. And wanting something deeply does not mean spending the time before it arrives monitoring whether life is getting it right. Sometimes calm begins when you recognize what is yours to do, do it, and stop trying to perform the part that was never yours.

Letting go of control is not the same as letting go of intention. You can care without carrying everything, lead without micromanaging, help without taking over, and trust a process without withdrawing from it. I release the need to manage the process puts that release into words, and then wears it where other people can read it too. It can mean I trust you to do your part. It can mean I trust what I have already set in motion. And perhaps most importantly: I don't need my hands on everything for things to move.
